This is our first blog post from Nagoya, Japan! We arrived safe and sound Friday evening after 23 hours of traveling. We managed to bring along 10 ginormous 70 pound bags, 2 carry on bags, a backpack and a timbuk2 bag. With only a few minor problems, like spilling the luggage carts 4 times, and walking all over the Tokyo airport trying to find our gate, our trip was successful . But needless to say, Joe was pretty frustrated by the end of the night - see photo.
I can only imagine Joe's mood after the fourth time the bags fell over... well even after the first and second time. But you made it!
ReplyDeleteSo fill me in....... why did you guys decide to move to Japan??? Was there a job offer for Joe or something? Are you there to stay or just for a period of time?? It is so exciting to hear about all of the things you guys are doing. I couldn't even imagine living in another country. Sounds like you are adjusting well! Hope you are having a blast!!
