Guam - Day 1

I've decided to go day-by-day as I write this series of Guam blog posts. We stayed at the Marriott, located on the popular beachfront of Tumon Bay. I don't like to brag, but I'm totally going to when I tell you that we got upgraded to a junior suite, on the top floor, with the best view you could possibly get. This is one of those times where our racked up Marriott points got us some major perks, as we seriously had the best room in the hotel (thanks Boeing!). On top of that, we got to enjoy a gourmet breakfast buffet ever morning, compliments of Joe's elite Marriott status. :)

View of Tumon Bay from our room.
We walked down the beach to the Hard Rock Cafe on our first night.
Enjoyed the beautiful sunset on our way.
My favorite dessert: Hard Rock apple cobbler!!!
Considering that we didn't even arrive until late afternoon on Day #1, I'd say we did pretty good! Loving every minute of our Guam beach vacation so far.

  2. Does your English understood in Guam? I've been there about 20 years ago, I could communicate better in Japanese in Guam!

  4. You are right, Guam definitely caters to the Japanese. We left Japan for a beach vacation, only to discover that many Japanese people also go there for their holiday too!

  5. And, I could definitely get used to the perks! ;)

Considering we're only 28 and enjoying this lifestyle, I'd say we aren't doing all that bad, hehehe :)
