This is a giant board displaying food options on a couple of the floors in the Tower, below our hotel. Each restaurant displays their signature dish on the board. You can see that there are 40 restaurants just on the 12th and 13th floors! Quite a variety, too!... Japanese, Italian, Indian, Chinese, French, Korean, bakeries, cafes, Starbucks, etc. We never have a problem finding a place to eat, and we certainly don't have to walk far. :) At peak meal times - people crowd around the board to decide what to eat... It can be complete chaos at times!
pretty sweet - what a nice way to make choices when there are so many places to go to -- curious -- can you order Starbucks in English or is everything in Japanese? Do they have pretty much all the same drinks we have?
ReplyDeleteYes, I order in English... but it kind of depends what person you get at the register. They have menus that they hand out to everyone in line (SO NICE!) which is written in English and Japanese. So if you get someone at the register that doesn't speak English, you just point to the pictures and words that you want (so I point to "latte," "hot," "nonfat," and "vanilla").
ReplyDeleteThey do seem to have the same drinks here. Frappaccinos seem to be the most popular.
